Vehicle maintenance

My vehicles are old, scratched and dented.

However, they are as well maintained as possible. I spend a lot of time, effort and money to keep them in the best shape possible. They are serviced after every single trip.

Rather than painting dented fenders and panels every weekend I concentrate on the important features. After every trip the trucks are carefully inspected and any questionable part is replaced immediately. During the 3 months summer season on the Rubicon Trail I spend an average of $15,000 in parts and repairs.

Even though the trucks are well maintained they might develop a "hickup" during the trip. I apologize for that. Its like getting sick a few days after you had your annual check up.

I have all necessary tools and parts with me to do a field fix. In 20 years we have never been stranded.
