Packing the tent

Hopefully you stored the bags for the tent in a safe place overnight. Remember: If it can fly away - it will fly away.

Before you break down the tent - please turn it over and shake good, so all sand and dirt falls out.

Pull out the poles carefully and put them in a safe place. They are fiberglass and break immediately when you step on them.

The tents need to be folded over twice, then the rain fly is folded on top, now use the collapsed poles to wrap the tent around them. You need to roll it up as tight as you possibly can - otherwise it will not fit into its bag. If your roll gets too big and you force it into the bag anyway, the tent will either not come out later or rip while trying.

The easiest way to get the poles out of the tent fabric is to keep it flat on the ground, straighten it out and pull the poles while wiggling them. If you pull to hard they will separate. Just get down on your knees and it works out perfectly. Please do not step on the tent fabric.
