Good News:   The new paved road between Uncle Tom's Cabin and Icehouse Road opened during the 2002 season. As of October 2002 the entire stretch between Icehouse Road and Stumpy Meadows has been paved as well. So, it is easy "sailing" from now on. No more dust - no more dirt. Make sure to stop at Uncle Tom's - watch for the sign since Uncle Toms is not on the roadside anymore - it is hidden away on a dead end in the woods. (map).
