Subject: Rubicon Trail

I was saddened to hear about the closure of the Spider Lake area. Human beings can be so disgusting, is that any way to treat our beautiful land? If the drunken, careless fools keep it up they will lose the entire trail.
I'm 36 now and I spent a great deal of time in the Rubicon camping, 4-wheeling and riding ATVs with my family as a kid and teen. It was the greatest time- some of my fondest memories center around that beautiful land. I have probably crossed the Rubicon about 15 times, my dad knew it like the back of his hand.
I hope this is a wake up call to everyone who enjoys the forests. Whether it be for hiking, ATVs, camping or 4-wheeling, we have to TREAD LIGHTLY!!!

Sincerely, T. E.
